The expediency of using shaped blanks from dissimilar materials for the manufacture of flexible elements of the vehicle frame has been substantiated. The tension of the binary system in the presence of the external friction has been considered. The contact friction stresses are determined by the dependences of the molecular-mechanical theory. The method for determining the parameters of the bending process with stretching the arcs of passenger cars from a bimetallic work piece of: stainless steel + carbon steel has been presented. The aim of the study is to develop a model and determine the technological parameters of deformation of a profile bimetallic workpiece with a longitudinal arrangement of layers of various metals under the external friction on one of the contours. The expediency of using the shaped blanks from dissimilar materials for manufacturing by bending with stretching of vehicle frame elements of vehicles, for example, the arcs of passenger cars has been established. The pre-tension forces are calculated as the product of the current area of the profile workpiece by the stress of the current yield point corresponding to the point of the intersection of the workpiece material hardening curves. The bending forces are determined such as for a solid workpiece with the equal current yield limits of its materials. The gauge stretching corresponds to the ultimate deformations of a more ductile material.
