La confianza hacia el medio interactivo de los padres y su papel inhibidor en el control de acceso a las pantallas de los menores

The main purpose of this research is to determine whether there are minors who are growing alone before screens and if digital orphanage is linked to minors’ age variable. Sample consisted in 776 Spanish families with children aged between 5-to-17 years. Results show parents who trust most in ITC are raising digital orphans. They let them connect without supervision and for longer. Like-wise, parental risk perception when their children are connecting in the network lead they exert greater mediation at earlier ages.
