For the non-diode full-wave rectifier on-chip low-power AC-DC conversion

2013
The present invention discloses a method of operating a bridge rectifier at low AC input voltage, such as radio frequency identification (RFID) means a low voltage received. Since a voltage drop caused by the diode bridge can be avoided. Four p- channel transistor arranged to the transistor bridge between the AC input terminal, an internal power supply voltage. Further four diode-connected transistor forming a start diode bridge, comparator generates a power supply voltage and a ground reference voltage. Start diode bridge running at initial startup phase, and then compare the boost driver run. A comparator receiving the input and controls the boost AC drive timing, using the boosted voltage boost driver higher than the peak AC voltage of the drive transistor alternately in four axle p- channel transistor. A substrate power supply voltage that is connected to the half bridge supply voltage, the half bridge the ground that is connected to the AC input, so as to completely turn off transistor, preventing reverse current flow.
