Relationship between natural rebeased s CD23 and T cell proliferation

Soluble CD23(sCD23)prepared from RPMI-8866 with natural splitting method performed a two way effects on tonsillar T lymphocytes pretreated with PHA。0.25ng/ml to 8ng/ml sCD23 showed to stimulate preactivatde Tcells to growth furtherly, but,over 128ng/ml inhibited the proliferation of pre-activated Tcells。The two-way effect absorbed with CD23 McAb-coupled SRBC, disappeared。This indicated that the effects were resulted from the materials which could be recognized by CD23 McAb. Furtherly, purified sCD23 prepeared, through CD23 McAb affinity chromatography gave a similar response curve to the rude materials。Interestingly, there was no significant effcts of sCD23 observed on non-activated tonsillar mononuclear and non-activated T lymphocytes。proposed that PHA could induce the expresion of an unknown sCD23 receptor, which mediated sCD23 proliferation signals, on preactivated T lymphocytes。
