First industrial application of CDOS FCC gasoline selective hydrodesulfurization technology

The start operational situation and running results of CDOS technology applied to hydrodesulfurization unit of Huabei Petrochemical Co.CNPC are reviewed.The results of industrial application show that the sulfur content decreases from 541-600 μg/g to 41-49 μg/g,the mercaptan sulfur content decreases to less than 10 μg/g,and RON loss is 1.0-1.4.CDOS technology is an economic and flexible process,which can applied to production of clean gasoline with sulfur content less than 50 μg/g for refinery.
