Strukturvereinfachung komplexer fernwärmenetze reproduzierbare mathematische reduktion von netzrechenmodellen - teil 2

2001
Modern simulation systems and optimization tools for the support of structural planning tasks and for operational optimizations in the energy supply sector are able to illustrate the interconnections within district heating systems in detail. Often these models are very complex so that simulation and especially optimization scenarios can only be executed with very high expenditure of time. Sometimes the solution of the resulting optimization problems are impossible. At the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental-, Safety- and Energy-Technology (Umsicht) in Oberhausen together with the Technical University of Gdansk, the Gdansk district heating enterprise GPEC and the EVO Energy Supply Company of Oberhausen a tool for the structural simplification of complex DH-network systems has been developed. By its application calculation times can be substantially reduced. In practical tests basing on real data of the district heating systems of Gdansk and Oberhausen the function of a prototype for the automatic structure simplification has been proved. It could be evaluated that a saving of time of 85 % compared to the not simplified network for dynamic simulations is possible.
