특허정보에 기반한 제품 혁신수준 분석에 관한 연구: 패턴 및 지표 개발

Analyzing the level of innovation of a product is important in that it enables identification of the product's promise and analysis of the development stage. Although there are existing studies to measure the innovation of the technology using various indicators of the patent, attempts to quantify the innovation level from the product point of view have been insufficient and have mainly relied on the qualitative evaluation of the experts. In this study, we use product name DB and product - patent relation information of KISTI 's technology opportunity system. We define the product innovation as a combination of quantitative and qualitative progress of the analyzed product, then analyze the innovation pattern of the product, and develop the innovation index. As a result of analyzing 100 sample products, it was confirmed that spiral development patterns appeared over time in products with a certain number of related patents or more. This study can be used to analyze the direction of future development of the products of interest by identifying the innovative patterns from the product perspective and quantifying the innovation indicators.
