A Summary of the Status Elevation of Du Fu and His Poetry At Mid-Northern-Song Dynasty

Since the Qingli period,poets in Northern Song Dynasty followed Han Yu and Libai in their poetic styles and languages.However,a turn took place at Jiayou period by which the glory of Han Yu and Libai faded way and the image of Du Fu became increasingly magnificent.The elevation of Du Fu's poetry to classics was facilitated since Xining period and completed in the following Yuanyou period.
