Combining Prophylactic Oophorectomy with Mastectomy Does Not Adversely Affect Surgical Outcomes: Results from the NSQIP Database

METHODS: We retrospectively compared consecutive patients (n1⁄4159) at a single center who underwent mandibulectomy reconstruction with free fibula flaps, for whom CAD/CAM+CTA (n1⁄438), CTA-only (n1⁄464), or neither technology (n1⁄457) were used over a 7-year period (2008 to 2015). We used logistic regression analysis to identify potential associations between patient and reconstructive factors and postoperative outcomes.
