The invention discloses an overall outer ring self-lubricating spherical plain bearing multi- split-die radial extrusion forming device and a forming process. The die comprises a guide sleeve (1), a rectangular pyramid-shaped hole die (2), multiple split dies (3), a washer (7) and a die base (8). In the forming process, a bearing inner ring (6), a self-lubricating layer (5), a bearing outer ring (4) and split dies (3) are arranged on an installing shaft (8-4) in sequence; under the effect of a hole die inclined plane, the split die (3) moves inwards during the process that the rectangular pyramid hole die (2) moves from the top to the bottom relative to the die base (8); and under the combined action of split die cylindrical hole walls (3-2) and the washer (7), the bearing inner ring (6) and the self-lubricating layer (5) are in fully spherical contact; finally the bearing outer ring (4) is machined. According to the invention, a bearing clearance is effectively controlled, the bearing outer ring is axially deformed to be symmetric, radial upsetting does not exist, and the formed spherical plain bearing has the bearing clearance meeting the requirements of a finished product bearing.
