Substituted phenoxymethylphenyl derivative, production thereof, intermediate for production thereof, fungicide, pesticide, and method for controlling pests and fungi

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject derivative having fungicidal and pesticidal properties, useful even in low consumption amount and low concentration by reacting a specific phenol with a phenyl compound. CONSTITUTION: The objective derivative is represented by formula I [wherein X is =CH-OCH 3 , =CH-CH 3 or =N-OCH 3 ; R 1 is 1-6C (halogen) alkyl, 2-6C alkenyl, 3-6C alkynyl, haloalkenyl, 1-4C alkoxy-1-6C alkyl or the like; R 2 and R 3 are each H, halogen, cyano, nitro, 1-4C alkyl or the like; R 4 is cyano, chloro, bromo, 1-6C alkoxy or the like; R 5 is nitro, cyano, halogen, 1-4C alkyl or the like; Y is O or -NH-, -N(CH 3 )-; and R 6 is H or 1-4C alkyl], e.g. E-2- methoxyimino-2-[2-(4-[ethoxyimino-methoxymethyl]-2,5-dimethyl-phenoxymethyl)- phenyl]methylacetateamide.
