The metamorphoses of the écrivain engagé

If one can distinguish four figures of the committed writer (the esthete, the notable, the avant-garde and the polemicist), one can observe a repoliticization of contemporary literature, based on the denaturalization of the established order, and on the power to make the point of view of the voiceless heard, especially in literature festivals.
