A method for producing a device for detecting an analyte, as well as device and its use

Disclosed is a method for producing a device for detecting an analyte comprising the steps of: a) on an insulating substrate is disposed a first conductor track with electrode function, b) on the conductor track is disposed a first passivation layer, c) the passivation layer is opened locally limited, so that the conductor is locally exposed limited, d) in the aperture is disposed a sacrificial layer on the conductor, e) on the sacrificial layer is disposed an electrode, f) a second conductor track is arranged orthogonally to the first conductor, the second conductor track contacts the electrode, g) a second passivation layer is disposed on the electrode and on the second conductor track, h) the second passivation layer and the electrode is opened so that the sacrificial layer is exposed, i) the sacrificial layer is removed. A correspondingly designed apparatus and their use are also disclosed.
