Use of cellulose nitrate as radon and radon daughters detectors for indoor measurements

Abstract A passive dosemeter based on LR 115 track detector has been developed. A series of experiments has been performed to determine the alpha track registration properties of the Kodak film, the reliability of automatic spark counting and the suitability of the passive method for indoor measurements. Comparison between passive and active dosemeters has also been investigated.
