The X-ray diffraction enhanced imaging of lung cancer tissue
2011
In this paper, the x-ray diffraction enhanced imaging (DEI) of lung cancer was analyzed and the contrast of image was studied at the variant points of the rocking curve. Firstly, at the bottom of the rocking curve, the contrast of the image is highest but the clarity of the image is not good. Then, at the full width of half maximum of rocking curve, the contrast of two symmetrical images is approximate opposite, and we can obtain the apparent absorption image and the refraction image. Finally, the image at the peak of the rocking curve has a higher contrast than the apparent absorption image. The contrast of the refraction image is highest. The clarity of the refraction image is best, too. The microstructure can be distinctly reflected in the refraction image, and the conglomeration and erode direction of cancer tissues can be shown very clear.
