Study on Xunzi under the Vision of Propagation

Xunzi started from the sociological idea like “Human being must live in society”and “Aperson' s life must not escape from the society”and the ideological point of view of “A person is bornwickedly”, and recognized the indispensability of the communicating activities. Xunzi advocated the en-lighten function of communication of like“People could not become reasonable without being enlightened”and“God is no more great than illuminating others”. At the same time, he also realized the negative effectof communication, and therefore his“grand courtesy heavy law”was also applied to the communicating ac-tivities, advocating to lay ethical standard and legal control on the communicating activities.
