Biometric Passport Security Using Encrypted Biometric Data Encoded in the HCC2D Code

In this paper, proposed a biometric encryption in the HCC2D (High capacity 2D barcode) code for national security. The proposed biometric encryption technique is using the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm and encoded into the HCC2D code. This technique will enhance the safety and security for a biometric passport from unauthorized access without knowing the passport holder. The proposed method will provide more security for the border crossing and illegal immigrants.
