Power Hardware in the Loop Test of Half Wavelength Active Overvoltage Suppression Device

2018
In this paper, an impedance compensation method for overvoltage suppression based on traveling wave reflection theory is proposed by analyzing the steady-state operating characteristics of half-wavelength. A digital simulation system for half wavelength transmission lines is built based on RTDS. The PHIL technology is used to observe the characteristics of half wavelength Active Overvoltage Suppression Devices (AOSD) under half wavelength transmission lines. It will provide valuable data reference for the construction of semi wavelength transmission lines in the future.
