The invention discloses a method for assisting hydrogenation and reduction of a bio-oil model compound by using acidic ionic liquid. The method is characterized in that the aromatic benzaldehyde or phenol compound or furfural of the bio-oil model compound is used as a raw material, and the catalytic hydrogenation and hydrogenated deoxidization efficiencies are promoted under the double catalyzing action of the acidic ionic liquid and a loaded metal catalyst, so as to prevent coking; under the moderate condition, the hydrogenated reduction and hydrogenated deoxidization are performed. The method has the advantages that the reaction is performed at low pressure, and the operation is simple, convenient and safe; the reaction condition is moderate, and a product can be easily separated; the catalyzing effect is high, and the yield rate of a reducing product is high; the obvious caking of a system is avoided.
