Crankshaft's Optimal Design Based on the Simulink Software and Self AdaptGenetic Algorithm

This paper provides the crankshaft's stress limit by simulating the movement of the crankshaft mechanism using the simulink software,based on that,the crankshaft parameters' restraint conditions which are constrained by the maximum tensile load,the maximum compression load and the self-parameters are provided.the optimal mode of the crankshaft is established which total aim is the minimum of the crankshaft's volume.Finally,The optimum design parameters of the mode are worked out by using the the self adapt genetic algorithm.By contrast,crankshaft's optimal design is remarkable supurior to the practicing design.
