The invention discloses a power transmission and distribution line channel color steel tile floater intelligent video identification method. The method comprises the following steps of acquiring video images through a front camera; decompressing the acquired video images and decomposing the video images into YUV images required for intelligent analysis; making a second decomposed into 25 frames of RGB images and randomly selecting 10 frames for analysis and comparison; comparing the image in a next frame and the image in a previous frame, using self-learning to update a background environment in a real-time manner and make color steel tile floaters dissociated; after a target object is locked, performing gray level calculation on the color steel tile floaters; and before the color steel tile floaters approach a power transmission and distribution line channel for a safe distance, performing identification and alarming. By means of the method, power transmission and distribution line channel color steel tile floater conditions can be identified in a convenient and timely manner.
