Transformaciones socioculturales generadas por la convivencia de los niños, adolescentes y jóvenes con trastornos de Espectro autista

2019
The present work is a quantitative-qualitative research on inclusive education in the educational centers of El Salvador. The administrations of presidents Mauricio Funes 2009-2014 and Salvador Sanchez 2014-2019, have brought with them a series of sensitization workshops in the Ministry of Education of El Salvador (MINED) on the educational inclusion of students with autism, as well as associations such as Angelitos, Autism Association of El Salvador from now on (ASA), Music Time and institutions that are part of the Health System such as the Salvadoran Integral Rehabilitation Institute hereinafter (ISRI) and Bloom Hospital. However, there is no inter-institutional program that allows controlling the educational processes of students with autism. Despite institutional limitations, students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (TEA), parents, health specialists, government institutions and associations have been able to build a culture of Inclusive Education, which should be strengthened by a government program in El Salvador. Keywords: School integration, Segregation in teaching, Autistic spectrum disorder, Autism, Developmental disorders, Endoculturation.
