Fresh Fruit Supply Chain Sensing and Transaction Using IoT

Fresh fruit supply chain includes transportation and distribution of fresh fruit. It is a growing field all over the world due to demand for fresh fruit. Meanwhile transportation and distribution of fresh fruit suffers from spoilage and waste. In this scenario, such disadvantages can be avoided by continuous monitoring of fresh fruit using IOT. With many types of contact and noncontact sensors the fresh fruit quality throughput of the distribution process can be tracked. Fresh fruit is easily get spoiled by fruit-borne diseases. This is overcome by using IOT based sensing and monitoring during transaction approach using smart logistics. The purpose of the work mainly focus on reduce or remove the fruit wastage or spoiled fruit.
