When the identification information indicates a time shift, a capture time selection unit (26) specifies, on the basis of the displacement amount, a time-shifted tomographic image from among a group of tomographic images for the same subject, examination region, and modality. A display image acquisition unit (30) reads the specified tomographic image from an image storage device (300), and supplies the tomographic image to a display information generation unit (35).
