Apparatus for dispensing guidewires.

Guidewire dispenser is used to introduce a guidewire into the body using one hand. The dispenser uses a configuration grasping pawl which is arranged in combination with an access platform thumb to provide accurate control easy handling guidewire delivered to the body. a dual configuration which provides the ability to dispense a guide wire between two separate nozzles in a single device is also described.
