Combined Process of HDIC and CASS for Treatment of High-concentration Pharmaceutical Wastewater

The combined process of pretreatment,HDIC and CASS was used to treat high-concen-tration pharmaceutical wastewater.The wastewater quantity is 260 m3/d,and the influent COD,BOD5,SS and ammonia nitrogen are 8 000 mg/L,4 500 mg/L,1 000 mg/L and 100 mg/L respectively.The effluent quality meets the requirement of Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants for Pharmaceutical Indus-try ― Mixing/Compounding and Formulation Category(GB 21908-2008).The actual operation shows that the combined process has a certain application prospect due to its advantages of strong anti-impact load,excellent treatment efficiency and little sludge production.
