Ownership Structure and Technical Efficiency of Listed Tourism Companies in China

This paper explores the relationship between ownership structure and technical efficiency of the listed tourism companies in China.Based on data envelopment analysis(DEA),the study finds that the technical efficiency of the listed hospitality companies and the integrated tourism companies are obviously higher than the listed companies that focus on landscapes.Further,this paper finds there is an inverse U linearity relation between ownership concentration and technical efficiency.And the ownership restriction ratio,the proportion of board ownership and the proportion of manager ownership have exerted significantly positive role to the enhancement of technical efficiency of listed tourism companies.
