Volume 2 is a compendium of methods for analysis of single-phase well tests particularly applicable to coalbed methane reservoirs. Based on known hydrologic characteristics of coal seams of interest in the Piceance, San Juan, and Warrior basins, fifteen methods for well-test analysis were selected. Each method is described and its use illustrated to provide a means for designing and analyzing well tests in coal seams.
