2018
The article is devoted to the issues of increasing innovation activity in agriculture on the basis of the concept of the “triple helix” G. Etzkowitz. The results of a sociological study of the innovative activity of agricultural commodity producers in the Saratov region are presented. The conclusion is made about the preservation of the gap between the needs and the real possibilities of introducing innovations. It is proved that the innovative stagnation and the lack of desire to introduce innovative developments into production are primarily related to the financial instability of the surveyed farms. Therefore, the agribusiness of the region can not act as an initiator of interactions with educational and research organizations. The comparative assessment of the innovative activity of agrarian universities conducted by the authors showed that the Saratov Agrarian University  has good prospects to become a catalyst for the formation of an innovative spiral in its region. Thus, in the Saratov region the scenario “from the space of knowledge to the space of innovations” is more realistic.
