The invention relates to a labeling device for labeling plastic containers in the blow mold in a rotary blow molding machine. The labeling apparatus according to the invention comprises a blow wheel, on which a plurality of blow molding are lowered with a blow mold provided, and at least one label dispenser for providing tubular labels. Here, the blow mold is designed so that a label can be introduced prior to blowing into the blow mold about him. This facilitates the spatial separation of the label feed from the inlet star of the blow wheel, and allows a substantially simultaneous introduction of the label and of the preform.
