Pre-service Teachers’ Designing of an Inquiry Task Through the Course of Study and Research Paths for Teacher Education

This research aims to examine how to evaluate the mathematical legitimacy for the new SRP task designed by pre-service teachers through the course of SRP-TE. In this short paper, we analyse pre-service teachers’ designing process of the task which can be suitable for SRP, and describe their products such as Q-A maps and their writings. The results show the task designing activities can provide an opportunity for them to learn and use new mathematical knowledge.
