Health data access in cloud-assisted e-healthcare system

In the emerging cloud computing paradigm, electronic healthcare system becomes increasingly motivated to outsource their complex data management systems. While those data may contain sensitive personal health data, the cloud servers cannot be fully secured. Encryption is a promising way to protect the confidentiality of the outsourced health data, but it also faces some difficulty to performing effective searches over encrypted information. We introduce to enhance privacy into e-healthcare with the support of private cloud. In this paper, SSE algorithm is used to enable efficient search on encrypted health data. Experiments conducts on user defined health dataset to enhance health data privacy which offers salient features including efficient key management, privacy preserving data storage, and efficient retrieval of health data.
