The method comprises the steps of establishment of wolfberry fruit grading and selecting expert knowledge base, acquisition of the wolfberry fruit image, extraction of the characteristic information of the wolfberry fruit image, intercomparison of the image characteristic information, and comparison of the characteristic information. The electric operator controls the specific operation of each part and the final grading and selecting. The invention can realize grading and selecting of the wolfberry fruit at the same time, and overcomes the disadvantages of low accuracy, low efficiency and easiness of causing the secondary pollution of the prior art, and ensures the quality of the product, realizes rapid intellectualization, and improves efficiency.
