MODEL BUILDING FOR LARGE SCALE INSPECTIONS

This paper focuses on data enhancement, the process of building multi- resolution, multi-modal models to be manipulated and displayed with human interaction. The goal of this research is to develop a method for answering the challenge of enhancing data. This method consists of building a data structure with multi- resolution capabilities for data display. This process increases the effectiveness of human performance during data manipulation by maintaining a high level of understanding for a scene being displayed at any resolution.
