The invention discloses an ultrafine grading purification technology for attapulgite clay. The technology comprises the following steps: (S1) carrying out primary impurity removal; (S2) crushing raw materials; (S3) adding a dispersant; (S4) stirring and carrying out acidifying treatment; (S5) carrying out modified treatment on a salt solution; (S6) carrying out wet-process grading treatment; (S7) carrying out centrifugal treatment; (S8) carrying out precipitation and extraction; (S9) carrying out drying treatment; and (S10) carrying out extruding and molding. The ultrafine grading purification technology is simple in step; the obtained attapulgite clay is relatively high in purity and small in particles; and a foundation is provided for fine application of attapulgite.
