MPPT strategy considering wind turbine dynamics

A nonlinear MPPT strategy considering the wind turbine dynamic performance is proposed to improve the efficiency of the wind generator system,which compensates the output power according to the observed turbine mechanical torque so as to improve the wind power extraction.Moreover,decoupling control of the active and reactive power can be achieved with the proposed strategy based on the feedback linearization theory,which simplifies the control implementation.The results of theoretical analysis and computer simulation show that, the proposed strategy improves the dynamic response and efficiency of wind generator system compared with traditional strategies.
