Stationary Magnetic Fields 2 (In Ferromagnetic Media)

In the previous programme we studied magnetic fields in ‘free space’ which meant in practice considering magnetic flux lines to be set up in air. We now consider the effects of the presence of material media and we find that in some ways, magnetic materials are similar to dielectric materials in the electric field. For example, polarisation takes place in magnetic materials under the influence of the H-vector just as it takes place in a dielectric material under the influence of the E-vector.
