POSTUPCI MODIFICIRANJA POVRŠINA

The paper analyzes methods of surface modifications which are divided into three groups: thermal, themo-chemical and mechanical modifications. By means of thermal surface modifications described are methods of surface hardening by flame, induction, electron beam and laser. Named are parameters and described principles of these processes and achivable hardnesses. Thermo-chemical methods of modifications are devided into diffusion prosesses of carbon, nitrogen, combinations of these two, and boron. For mechanical modifications described are processes of shot peening and ion implantation. In the following text are named applications and process variations for each of these methods.
