espanolLa recuperacion de la memoria historica sobre las enfermeras en la guerra civil espanola es de interes para el conocimiento enfermero. Por este motivo se realiza el estudio "Les infermeres catalanes en la guerra civil". Su objetivo es el de hacer visibles las mujeres que ejercieron de enfermeras en la guerra civil en Cataluna a traves del testimonio vivo de sus protagonistas. Se trata de un estudio historico a partir de la historia oral. El metodo utilizado es el relato biografico. En este articulo se presenta una sintesis de los relatos biograficos obtenidos hasta la fecha de: Carme Barrull, Anna Vinas, Maria Sans, Victoria Santamaria, Pilar de Viala, Guadalupe Cusso, Ramona Gurnes, Alegria Royo, Antonia Palacin y Maria Casas. Ejercieron principalmente en hospitales de sangre ubicados en conventos, seminarios, escuelas y balnearios, entre otros, de ambos bandos. Su trabajo contribuyo a cuidar a muchos soldados heridos ayudandoles en su proceso de recuperacion o paliando sus sufrimientos en entornos peligrosos y con escasos recursos. Algunas enfermeras republicanas tuvieron que huir a Francia, de regreso a Espana, tuvieron dificultad en seguir trabajando como enfermeras. It is for this reason that the study "Catalan Nurses in the Spanish Civil War" was carried out. The main objective of this paper is to make those women who worked as nurses during the Spanish Civil War in Catalonia visible, through the use of their own oral testimonies. This is therefore a historical study based on oral history. The methodology of research adopted was life history or biographical research method. This article provides a summary of the biographical accounts obtained so far from: Carme Barrull, Anna Vinas, Maria Sans, Victoria Santamaria, Pilar de Viala, Guadalupe Cusso, Ramona Gurnes, Alegria Royo, Antonia Palacin and Maria Casas. These women worked mainly in field hospitals established in monasteries, seminaries, schools and spas, amongst others, on both sides. Their work contributed to looking after many wounded soldiers, either helping them throughout their recovery process or palliating their suffering, in dangerous locations and with little availability of resources. Some republican nurses had to flee to France and, on their return to Spain, found it extremely difficult to carry on working as nurses.
