Method for the automatic control of batch processes

The invention concerns a method for the automatic control of manufacturing processes by means of a process-control system in which automatic programmes access individual control modules. The method is characterized in that: a) the control commands and parameter definitions contained in the parts or phases of the manufacturing programme and which are designed to control lock in place or block the start-up of actuator elements in the manufacturing facility are stored at a separate programme level, b) in the separate programme level, the control commands and parameter definitions for each actuator element controlled are grouped by actuator element and, optionally, logically related and c) the controls, locks and start-up blocks in place at any point in time are output by actuator element to the process operational-control and monitoring system.
