ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING EDUCATION AS AN ISSUE OF CONTROL EDUCATION

As environmental awareness is growing, Higher Education Institutions have to respond to the new demands on graduates. The author briefly discusses the relation between Control Engineering and the Environment. Environmental Engineering as newly understood is defined, and in the final section a newly established Programme on Special Environmental Engineering at Brunel University is described.
