Diagnostic Errors in Skeletal Trauma in Children

To avoid diagnostic errors in the skeleton of the growing age radiologists have to be aware of some peculiarities of the developing bones (Table 1) and of their typical injuries (Table 2). The discussion of a limited number of these problems and injuries will draw attention to the difficulties of radiologic diagnosis and the possible diagnostic errors.
