Study of hypoxia-induced expression of HIF-1α in retina pigment epithelium

It was shown that the expression of HIF-1α in retinal pigment epithelium increased under hypoxic conditions. Eight hours after the start of hypoxic exposure, the expression of HIF-1α reached the peak and sustained after 24-hour hypoxia.
