新北市政府出版品「多元文化繪本」之探討 -以東南亞篇與第二輯為例

This research aimed at analyzing the Multicultural Picture Book from the perspectives of the multicultural concepts,and analyzing the Multicultural Picture Book in the content and images on the forms ,how to present the concept of multi-culture. Through content analysis, to be utilized to reach the research purpose and to answer the research qestions.The research objectives- New Taipei City Goverment publications " Multicultural Picture Books", added up to a number of 20 volumes for analysis. Using quantitative and qualitative analysis method, to discover the concept of picture books with a multicultural concept and value. Findings of this study are as follows:(a)In the proportion of multicultural concept , the Second Series were significantly higher than the Southeast Asia Series;the concept of affective level was highest, the concept of skill level was lowest;(b)In the Multicultural Picture Books on the forms , contents and images of the books operated in coordination and the forms were multiple, entertaining and creative;(c)Multicultural Picture Book emphasized cognitive and affective level, suitable for primary school children. The results of the present study suggest three dimensions:(a) Because of plain text content of picture books, readers need the instructors help direct to explore deeper concept;(b). Picture book story based mainly on ethnic culture, the future publications of the story content, may be appropriate to add gender and exceptional topics.(c)The authors should be invited widely.
