Study on the efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride capsules in patients with chronic idiopathic urticaria

Objective: To study the efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride capsules versus cetirizine capsules in patients with chronic idiopathic urticaria.Methods: A Multicenter double-blind double-dummy comparative study of the efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride capsules versus cetirizine capsules in patients with chronic idiopathic urticaria(phase Ⅱ).Results: 136 cases were accomplished,67 cases in tset group and 69 cases in control group.The effective rate of test group was 80.597%,that of control group was 71.014%.The two groups were not significantly different,P 0.05.The incidence of adverse drug reaction in test group was 11.429%,that of control group was 18.310%.The two groups were not significantly different,P 0.05.Conclusion: The efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride capsules in patients with chronic idiopathic urticaria correspond to cetirizine capsules.
