Studies of the structure and composition of vinylidene fluoride copolymers with perfluoroalkyltrifluorovinyl ethers by A 19F NSR method

Abstract The 19 F NSR spectra of copolymers of 1,1-difluoroethylene (DFE) with 3-oxaperfluorobutene or 3,7-dioxaperfluoro-1-octene have been investigated at 84·67 MHz frequency. New difluoromethylene (DFM) group signals were detected in the blocks and were classified as produced by the DFE. A method for determination of the composition of the copolymers from the 19 F spectra has been developed.
