The Relationship between blood uric acid, plasma fibrinogen levels and the Coronary artery disease

2011
Objective:To understand the relationship between biochemical indicator levels such as blood uric acid, albumin, plasma fibrinogen levels and the severity of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods: 750 patients were examined by cronary artery angiography and were divided into CHD group and control group. The severity of coronary artery stenosis was evaluated and scored with Gensini coronary scoring system.multi-factors analysis methods were adopted to analyze the relationship between Gensini scoring and clinical-biochemical indicators. Results: The blood albumin of CHD was significantly lower than that of control group; The blood uric acid and fibrinogen of CHD was significantly higher than that of control group.Using Logistic regression analysis to evaluation the risk factor of CHD,the blood uric acid and fibrinogen were introduced equation.Using stepwise multiple regression analysis to evaluation the risk factor of Gensini scoring, the history of hypertension and fibrinogen were introduced equation. Conclusion: The fibrinogen is an independent risk factor for the severity of CHD.The patients with CHD should check their blood albumin, uric acid and fibrinogen levels.
