The initial experience of 11C-CFT PET/CT combined with NeuroQ software in the evaluation of Parkinson's Disease

2018
1647 Objectives: Parkinson9s disease (PD) is one of the most common neurodegenerative disease. Dopamine transporter (DAT) imaging plays an important role in the evaluation of PD for early diagnosis, differential diagnosis and disease assessment. But the semi quantitative analysis of ROI (region of interesting) has insufficient stability, while the commonly used SPM analysis process is too complex. In this study, 11C-CFT DAT PET (positron emission tomography) imaging combined with NeuroQ software analysis were explored to evaluate PD. Methods: From May 2017 to September 2017, 37 cases suspected PD and underwent 11C-CFT PET/CT examination in our center were selected. With 3-6 months of clinical follow-up, according to the 2015 MDS Clinical Diagnostic Criteria for Parkinson’s Disease, the cases were divided into the group of determined PD (dPD), probable PD (pPD) and excluded PD (ePD). Furthermore, according to the Hoehn-Yahr classification, the determined PD patients were divided into the early PD group (H&Y 2). The ratio of the head of caudate nucleus and putamen to cerebellar cortex [ (ROI- cerebellar cortex) / cerebellar cortex] of 11C-CFT PET was calculated by ROI semi quantitative Methods: These ratios were also obtained by the NeuroQ software with the cerebellum as reference. With the SPSS, correlation of ROI method and NeuroQ method to measure the ratio were analyzed, the difference among the different diagnostic groups, the different stages of PD, and the same/contralateral side of onset limb in the early PD were analyzed too. Results There were 22 male and 15 female in 37 cases, with an average age of 59.68 + 13.86 years. 20 cases of dPD (11 cases in early stage and 9 cases in late stage), 9 cases of ePD and 8 cases of pPD were diagnosed. The 11C-CFT uptake ratio of basal ganglia was calculated by both ROI method and NeuroQ methods in 37 cases. There was a good correlation between the two methods in both caudate nucleus and putamen ( r=0.895, p
