More on Hyers' theorem

Abstract The first aim of this work is to present a version of Hyers' theorem which explains why in the other papers on Hyers' theorem there are the assumptions of completeness or compactness. The second purpose is to prove an analogue of Hyers' theorem in the case of mappings having values in topological groups.
