Control laws for a torque motor with magnetic-flux commutation for symmetric scanning conditions
1996
Knowing the control law u co (t), i co (t) for a torque motor, we may analyze the law of motion of a scanning device φ(t) with acceptable error and obtain estimates of the instantaneous P co (t) = u co (t)i co (t), maximum P co.max , and mean P co.me = 1/Tcy.∫P co (t)dt, from 0 to Tcy, power drawn from the source (Tcy is the cycle duration). In addition, the dependence i co (t) allows us to characterize the degree of periodic perturbation of the supply voltage when the scanning device draws its power from a centralized source serving a series of consumers of comparable power. In the general case, knowing the control laws allows us to estimate the possibility of establishing those laws by means of program control and automatic control systems with feedback.
